Which are the new districts of Chhattisgarh?

A new chapter of administrative decentralization has been added in the last four and a half years in the state. Now there are 33 districts, 108 subdivisions and 227 tehsils in the state. In these years itself, the state has got the historic gift of six new districts, 19 subdivisions and 77 tehsils. The state government has also released a new map of the state.
Gorela-Pendra-Marwahi district was inaugurated on February 10 under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel. In the year 2022, five more new districts Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur, Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki, Sarangarh-Bilaigarh, Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai and Sakti were launched. Apart from this, 77 new tehsils and 19 subdivisions have been created. Tehsildars, sub-divisional officers have also been posted at all these places.
Chief Minister Baghel says that new light of development will come from the newly formed districts in the state. The benefits of the schemes prepared for the development of the people will reach them. Along with the fulfillment of public aspirations, administrative decentralization, backward and underdeveloped areas will also get a chance to come at par with development.
